Property size is a planning input, not a camera formula
Room count helps estimate project scale, but it does not determine camera quantity. Entrances, reception, corridors, elevators, service areas, loading zones, parking and perimeter conditions each need a defined operational purpose and privacy review.
Use property-size bands to plan recorder, switch and cabinet capacity, then validate every camera on the current floor plan. Standardizing a small number of approved camera families can simplify spares and training, provided the lens and environmental options still fit each scene.

Ask the supplier to bind the quotation to the exact models, firmware or configuration, accessories and destination-market requirements. Keep assumptions visible and resolve them through samples, datasheets or written order terms.
